INFO for the 2024 season

 First games are held the 1 st weekend of Term 2 (4 th May 2024)

 Registrations close FRIDAY 22nd March (7th grade upwards) however the earlier you register the easier it is on the volunteers to do all the admin & prep work for
the season

 Training – Teams generally train once a week, the day & time is up to the discretion of the Coach (Volunteer)

 Games - 7th grade upwards play in the wider Waikato region, and will have home and away fixtures (so there will be some travel) , on a Saturday morning - KO range from 9-11ish,

 First Kicks will be on a friday evening under lights at the senior end of the club

 Cost – it is $85 for the Junior Kickers (4-6 years) and $140 for the Standard Junior Grades (7-14 years)

 Junior grades 7yrs plus - Your child will be provided with a Club shirt for games ONLY – Please don’t allow your child to use for recreation or trainings, the shirts are to be returned at the end of the season and shirts that are covered in food stains are not nice to receive the next year!
We are currently working through replacing our stock of Junior Shirts and they are a huge expense for the Club, they need to last at least 3 years – please help us by ensuring your child ONLY wears them for games.

 You will need to purchase Red Shorts and socks – these are available at the Uniform Shop opposite the Warehouse in Cambridge as well as on our Club website

 ALL footballers must wear Football boots and shinguards. We do have a swap a boot program and second-hand boots available at
the club for $5 during the season.

 We have advance programmes for the kids that want to go for them with our Federation Teams & a pathway to the TDP (Talent
Development Program) note this is for 12th grade and above.

 All Coaches and Managers for each team are Volunteers – you don’t need experience or to be a star footballer, you just need to
have some time & want to help the kids have a great fun Football experience – the rest you can learn as you go!

 All of our Coaches & Managers need to pass Police Vetting, this is done online and we will need to sight your identification in

 If you have questions or need further clarification,

please email our Junior Club Captain - Jos Philip on    juniors@cambridgefootball.co.nz
