OUR VISION

Our Youth Programme is designed to develop Cambridge Football club into the club of choice for players in the Waikato.

We aim to provide an opportunity for ambitious players to experience a challenging and competitive football environment, exposing as many players as possible to high quality coaching and top-tier competition.

    PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Our Youth Programme offers a pathway for players from 12th grade through to senior teams.  It’s for players who are wanting more intensive training and who aspire to become well-rounded footballers in a competitive environment.

Delivered in collaboration with RH3 Academy, the programme includes team training, strength and conditioning, sports science testing, skills acquisition and specialist goalkeeping sessions.

Cambridge FC has proudly gained accreditation as a Talent Development Programme (TDP) Club for our mixed/boys programme.  Our 14th, 15th and 17th grade teams all compete in the NRFL Youth Competition.

We are actively working towards gaining TDP accreditation for our female programmes and hope to achieve this in the near future.

    PROGRAMME DETAILS

    Youth programme participants benefit from:

    • Programming provided by RH3 Academy coaches
    • Coaching, game day and tournament attendance by RH3 Academy coaches
    • Strength and conditioning programme including Sports Science testing across all age groups
    • Seperate goal keeping sessions for squad goal keepers.

We work closely with the Cambridge High School football programme to ensure there is good connection between the groups to manage load, minimise injury risk and maximise player development.
